The Pre-School Department of the GESS offers a comprehensive, age-appropriate educational programme for children aged from 1½ to 6 years. There are 300 places, making GESS one of the largest pre-school establishments amongst the German schools in foreign countries.

There is a choice between English or German speaking groups at all levels.

The children are placed in groups according to their age:

• Parent-Child Groups (1.5 - 3 years)
• Toddler Groups (2 - 3 years)

• Kindergarten Groups (3 - 5 years)
• Pre-Primary Groups (5 - 6 years)
